Yudoozy hasn’t been around for long, as you may well know. But we’ve been working our socks off trying to bring you one of the best platforms in New Zealand to get work and connect with employers.

And now, we’d like to share some pretty sweet news with you: we’ve got two amazing SaaS and technology experts joining our advisory board. In fact you may have heard of them – Leanne Graham and Rob Brough.

Leanne is a SaaS extraordinaire and has a shed load of experience in the software sector, especially in New Zealand. Having previously fronted as the General Manager and Head of Sales of a little company called Xero, she was a key figure in their early growth and development.

After this, Leanne went on to become the CEO of GeoOp, a leading cloud-based job management solution, where she helped them list on the New Zealand Stock Exchange. And now she sits on the board of both local and global companies. Wowsa.

Rob on the other hand comes from a more technical background. He too has worked with some pretty big name companies, delivering multi-million dollar digital infrastructure projects. Just little things like technical solutions for interactive in-flight entertainment used by major airlines like Air New Zealand.

Also, Rob boasts a strong agency background having been technical director at award-winning creative agency DesignWorks. So between them they cover off a lot of bases.

Here’s what Leanne had to say about getting on board: “I am excited to join the Board of Yudoozy and provide my expertise. Talented individuals are moving towards the freedom of freelancing/contracting and companies struggle to find and afford this talent. Yudoozy creates the perfect platform for matching; it’s Tinder for matching freelancers with technology companies.” (P.S. “talented individuals”, that’s you!)

So, as you can understand, we’re pretty excited to say the least. From our humble beginnings we’re proving to the world, well New Zealanders really, that we are serious in our bid to become the future of freelancing. But we don’t have to convince you of that, you’re already here reading our ramblings and joining us on this ride.  

Soon we will also be looking to announce our first round of investment, with the cash injection definitely helping our cause. It’s a busy time for sure but we’re doing our best to smash it. Stay tuned.
